I can't log into my account in Hero Academy. What should I do?

If you are having trouble logging into your Hero Academy account on your primary or secondary devices, there are a few possibilities to consider:

I need to reset my password.

The automatic password reset system is currently down. Please create a ticket here and we'll get you sorted out!

I've never set a password on my Hero Academy Account 

To log in on a second device, you'll need to set an account password. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Hero Academy app on the device that you currently auto-login with.
  2. Go to the Settings menu.
  3. Tap the "Set Password" button
  4. Create a new password for your account. 
  5. You can now log into your account on the second device using your account email and password.



When I enter my email address on the second device, Hero Academy tries to create a new account instead of asking for my password

The system checks for accounts with the email that you enter and will create a new account if it doesn't recognize the email. If this is happening, that means that either you have entered the email address incorrectly or that your email address had a typo in it when you originally signed up. Check that you are currently typing the email correctly. If you are, please send an email to Support@RobotEntertainment.com with the following information:

  1. The email address that you think is on the account.
  2. The Nickname on the account. 

We will look into the account to check for possible errors in the original setup.

I am trying to login on my Android device it doesn't read my email address past the @ sign.

There is an issue with the @ entry and Hero Academy on some Android devices.

We have a workaround available.

In a note-taking application, type out your email address. Then copy it to your clipboard. Open Hero Academy and paste your full email address in the email box. It should properly read your login. (If your password contains an @ you will need to do this for the password as well.)

 

I have already set a password, but when I try to request a password reset email, the mail never shows up.

There are two possible causes for this.The first is that the email is being delivered to your spam folder. Because the password reset email contains links, this happens frequently. Check your email spam folder for the reset email. If you cannot locate the reset email in your spam or inbox folders, then your email address likely had a typo in it when you originally signed up. If this seems to be the case, please send an email to Support@RobotEntertainment.com with the following information:

  1. The email address that you think is on the account.
  2. The Nickname on the account. 

We will look into the account to check for possible errors in the original setup.
